Kelly and I attended the ArcReady event in Cincinnati OH given by

Brian Prince (http://www.brianhprince.com/
Michael Wood (http://mvwood.com/blog/).

Kelly has a great summary at his blog

A quote from the meeting that really hit home:

“Eat like a bird, poop like an Elephant”

(1) Get out there, meet people, consume knowledge like crazy, attend seminars, etc. (birds eat a lot, twice their weight per day!). And (2) spread the knowledge, information, and contacts that you gained around, share of your time and talent (elephants are good at...well you know).

In our ArcReady food outing, our adventure lead to a bookstore where I read some of Seth Godin’s new book “Tribes: We Need You to Lead Us”.  From Seth’s book, I did some research and found out he received an MBA from Stanford Business School which has a great podcast site for “Entrepreneurial Thought Leaders”

 http://edcorner.stanford.edu/podcasts.html

Stanford, understandably, attracts a lot of leaders and visionaries to share their experiences.

I will be spreading the “poop” on topics I find of interest on this site every week.  Now back to eating!
