Late Evening Walk

It was late, decided to go for a walk.  Of coarse - to the top of the mountain.  It was much darker out than what the picture displays.  Heard four entities moving few hundred yards.  I move, they moved.  Stopped to determine weight and height - direction of what ever was in the dark undercover.

Bam! - four deer ran 10 feet in front of me. 

OK.  Now it is dark and time to get back (you and me both).  Found my way back to my sub.  Walked down the hill to my house.  But wait... what is this?  A car parked back in the shadows.  Another shadow around the back of the vacant neighboring house.  Here we go again - except this time it is not mother nature; the two legged deer. 

Again, caught without a weapon; I take the element of surprise on my side.  Ease around the corner, watching like a deer.  

I notice a women's outline peeking in the windows.  Feeling confident, I say "May I help you!".  ahhhh "are you a neighbor? I put a bid on this house and wanted to take another loooook."

So "Think like a Traveler", even when you are close by home.
