When users remote into a server, they often don't logout.  How to do a force logout

Login to another server with terminal services manager: Start-Programs-Administrative Tools -Terminal Services Manager.

  1. Add the box you want to review under "All Listed Servers".
  2. Right Click on the user and "Logoff".

If all sessions are full, try to log into the console directly:  mtsc /v:servername /console or for xp mtsc /v:servername /admin
