LINQ Cheat Sheet

Awhile back, a few of us sat around and knocked out some LINQ using Entities.  There are many examples out there – but a little scattered.  I’ve decided to start a cheat sheet based on some of the things I’ve found, starter docs, and to document tricks I found along the way.

First thing you want to do is install LINQPad.  Great tool for researching LINQ (I need to buy the auto-completion).  It attaches to databases or Entities – to give you a nice scratchpad for rapid testing of your thoughts and ideas.  Also converts between
