Michael, it is indeed an honor for you to introduce me to our community on your site.  You are a leader; "Someone you should know" is a great idea and approach.  I too know many, many with demanding jobs, dissertations to write, family to nurture - yet they are passionate about technology and if positioned correctly, barriers removed, would be huge contributors to our community.  I too will contribute, I will reflect on whom to introduce. 

Please, take a few minutes and read about the tribe that Michael Wood (http://mvwood.com/) is leading.  Tribes must be connected to a leader, connected to an idea; our tribe is connected to Michael.
