Bridging the Gap Follow-Up

In my previous post “Bridging the Gap”, I wrote about bridging the gap between industry and academia.  This semester, I gained further insight on crossing the river between the two entities.  You do need a ferryman, someone who knows both sides and has the collateral to bring people back and forth.

I perform a job similar to Charon, a ferryman of Higher Education who carries souls of the newly founded across the rivers of opportunity.
